Description
The Medical Corps saves more lives than in any other time of combat. Produced by the U.S. Army as part of The Big Picture series, this graphic documentary shows the treatment that was administered to our wounded troops in battle. With footage provided by the National Archives and Records Administration, cameras follow the wounded soldier from the time he calls "Medic" until he is released for duty. An interview with Lieutenant Colonel S.J. Newsom, former Division Surgeon with the Army's 7th Division in Korea, is featured in this engaging documentary.
