Beanstack is a digital reading resource for tracking your personal reading goals all year. Registration is free and no library card is needed. You can earn badges for reading milestones and completing activities at the library, around the City of McKinney, and at home. Create a Beanstack account for yourself or your family. McKinney Public Library is participating in “All the Feels,” a Winter Reading Bingo Challenge sponsored by Beanstack. We challenge our community to read at least 10 minutes per day (300 minutes for the month) through January and keep track of their reading on our Beanstack site or the Beanstack mobile app.  Top-performing libraries and schools will earn cash prizes from Beanstack.

The 1000 Books Before Kindergarten Challenge is a Library program that encourages all families and caregivers to read at least 1000 books with their young children before they enter Kindergarten.
