Description
This program discusses bullies and harassment on campus and some of the motivations behind a bully's behavior. Subjects covered include the existence of bullying; student harassment; how to deal with a bully; the law and its involvement with bullying; school rules to protect students from harassment; how to stand up for oneself; and where to turn for help with a harassing situation. The damage to self-esteem that can occur when a student is the constant victim of bullying and ways to avoid conflict and violence on campus are also covered. Interviews with bullies and teens who have been bullied are included. Correlates to all applicable National and State Educational Standards including the NCLB Act.
